Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on leadership while working side-by-side with Plant leaders and Corporate financial team.
- Create, oversee and monitor operational budgets and cost rates
- Timely and accurate month-end close including the production of financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted principles or international financial reporting standards.
- Establish, direct, and maintain sound financial accounting practices and procedures, internal controls and management reporting systems for internal and external reporting.
- Ensure internal controls are adequate to safeguard company assets and property
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implement a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
- Recommend benchmarks that will be used to measure the company’s performance.
- Produce annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management.
- Provide financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions and contract negotiations.
- Work with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit.
- Ensures compliance with local, state and federal government requirements.
- Provide leadership and demonstrate commitment to Strategic Plan.
- Communicate organizational and individual goals to direct reports. Provide feedback and maintain consistency of purpose and direction.
- Assure that all company policies, procedures, and practices are consistently followed.
- Responsible for cash management, budgets, and forecasts.
- Manage general and cost accounting functions, payroll, accounts payable, credit, collections, and job cost estimating.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university.
- Five to ten minimum experience in industry-related experience.
- Equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Computer literacy a must.
Physical demands:
- Works at desk with a telephone and personal computer for majority of shift.
- Works within a manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to noise, heat, cold, fumes and chemicals.
- Ability to travel, although infrequent to support the business demands.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Inside Sales Representative - Bethel, CT
Inside Sales Representative / Customer Account Specialist
Location: Bethel, CT (on-site during onboarding; hybrid eligible thereafter)

About the Role
Cablecraft is seeking an Inside Sales Representative / Customer Account Specialist to support customers in regulated manufacturing environments, including Aerospace and Defense. This role is responsible for managing customer orders, preparing quotations, coordinating documentation, and serving as a key point of contact between customers and internal teams.
This position is ideal for a strong Inside Sales, Customer Service, or Sales Operations professional who thrives in a detail-driven, fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys owning customer relationships end to end.
Experience in Aerospace/Defense is preferred but not required — we provide training on industry-specific requirements and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, process, and manage customer orders using ERP/CRM systems
- Prepare accurate price quotations and maintain organized customer documentation
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts
- Coordinate with engineering, production, logistics, quality, and finance to meet customer needs and delivery commitments
- Support compliance-related documentation for regulated customers (training provided)
- Assist sales leadership with customer communications, reporting, and account support
- Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and occasional trade shows as needed
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, Sales Operations, or Order Management
- Experience supporting customers in a manufacturing, industrial, or B2B environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM experience preferred
Preferred (not required):
- Aerospace, Defense, medical device, electronics, or other regulated manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with government or compliance-related customer portals (e.g., PIEE, WAWF, SAM.gov)
- Experience managing complex orders, quotations, or multi-step documentation
Equivalent experience will be considered in place of formal education.

Position Overview
Cablecraft Motion Controls is seeking a Product Design Engineer with a strong aerospace and/or automotive background to support customer programs from concept through production. This role is critical to evaluating new applications, developing robust mechanical designs, supporting manufacturing launch, and maintaining existing products through continuous improvement.
This position works on ITAR/EAR-controlled programs, and candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or otherwise eligible to access export-controlled technical data.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate customer RFQs for technical feasibility, manufacturability, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with customers, Sales, and internal teams to define mechanical designs and product requirements
- Develop quotation and production drawings, material specifications, tooling concepts, and process recommendations
- Support product launches by partnering with Manufacturing to ensure efficient, repeatable production flow
- Create and maintain full engineering documentation, including:
- Bills of Material (BOMs)
- Product and assembly drawings
- FMEAs, Process Flows, and Control Plans
- Planners and routings
- Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
- Deviation requests and non-conformance documentation
- Support prototype builds, samples, and testing
- Develop test specifications and analyze results to validate performance and functional requirements
- Identify and drive cost-reduction and continuous-improvement opportunities
- Lead or support R&D initiatives as assigned
- Provide technical support across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sales
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 3+ years of experience designing and supporting engineered products in a manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting products from design through production
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or comparable 3D CAD software
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR/EAR regulations
Highly Preferred
- Aerospace and/or automotive industry experience
- Experience with mechanical assemblies, actuation systems, cables, or linkages

About the Role
Cablecraft Motion Controls is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Receivable Collections Coordinator. This position plays a key role in supporting the Company’s cash flow by managing outstanding customer balances, resolving invoicing issues, and maintaining positive client relationships. This part-time position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable communicating with customers regarding past-due accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices through phone, email, and written communication.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts in accordance with company policies.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and account disputes.
- Document all collection activities, customer interactions, and resolutions in the accounting system.
- Collaborate with internal teams (billing, sales, customer service) to address account issues and ensure accurate invoicing.
- Process customer payments and apply them to accounts when needed.
- Recommend accounts for escalation, payment plans, or write‑off review when appropriate.
- Maintain professionalism and positive customer relationships while ensuring timely payment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
